David & The Crowd Watching

Courage When Everyone Is Looking

The second issue of Steadfast teen magazine continues the Faith Under Fire series with David & The Crowd Watching –a powerful reimagining of the moment David danced before the Lord as the Ark entered Jerusalem. In a celebration filled with music, movement, and watching eyes, David chooses worship over image and conviction over approval. Before the crown and the legend, he faces a quieter test: will he live for the applause of people or the presence of God? Guided by Scout, who sees what others overlook, this issue invites teens ages 13–17 to reflect on confidence under pressure, identity rooted in truth, and the courage to stand unashamed in their faith—even when the crowd is watching.
